Ways to Travel

By Car

Riihimäki is located by the European route E12 (national road 3, 'Valtatie 3'), 45 min from Helsinki and one hour from Tampere. The road '45' takes directly from Lahti to Riihimäki. There's parking space for approx. 20 cars at a parking lot behind Kino Sampo. You can find more space for parking at the side of the street.

By Train

The train connections for return (at 21st of November from 11PM):

• To Tampere: (IC) 11:22PM, 11:52PM, 07:52AM
• To Helsinki: (H) 11:14PM (T) 11:52PM, 0:52AM, 1:52AM, 4:11AM, 5:11AM (Pendolino) 0:09AM
• To Lahti: (Commuter train) 10:15PM, 00:15AM, 05:11AM (with 1 transfer), 07:15AM

By Foot

The distance from the Riihimäki railway station is approx. 800 meters (875 yards)

1. Take the exit from the main doors
2. Head forward and slightly right by the Pohjoinen Asemakatu
3. Turn right to Pohjoinen Rautatienkatu and go under the bridge (marked as Kauppakatu in the map)
4. Take the next left to Suokuja
5. Kino Sampo is at the front of you at the left-hand side of plaza
